AU REVOIR (14) is hard to catch but did score as favourite on the poly track at the Gold Coast in her penultimate run. She picked up a lot of late ground last start at Beaudesert on a testing heavy track that day. She has a few things in her favour this time and is capable of figuring in the finish at decent each-way value. DEAL AN ACE (22) he will be peaking third-up after back-to-back second placings at the Sunshine Coast to open this campaign. She steps up to a suitable journey now and can go one better this time. Stick with her. AROUND THE BUOY (7) got too far back after making a slow start last time out when resuming here 12 days ago. He will relish the step up in trip to a mile and if he can make an even beginning from a superior draw this time, he should make his presence felt in a very competitive contest. DULCET (5) is having his first start from the Queensland arm of the Chris Waller stable. He had a recent Deagon trial to keep him ticking over and can give this a shake.
