ALL SO CLEAR (4) was well beaten on resumption at Benalla but put in a much improved effort last start at this track and distance, running on well to grab second. That was his first defeat here with two other wins. Fitter again here and maps for a good run. Top pick. MURRAY FACTOR (7) has mixed his form since a first up win at Bendigo. He's good enough on his day and this isn't the strongest race. SUBRISING (8) appreciated the step up to 7f here last time when second and should improve again out to a mile. Strong hope. MAKUSHA (3) has just been fair in two runs back from a spell but should be ready to show a bit more now.
